BIOGRAPHY

Revival ABB is the country’s foremost homage to the music of The Allman Brothers Band. Born and bred in Cleveland, Ohio and founded by Greg Campolieti in 2015, Revival ABB have become the regions most sought-after Allman Brothers tribute, consistently playing to packed houses and enthusiastic fans. 

Revival ABB enlists a collection of top Cleveland musicians with a range of experiences, playing facility and sensitivity to the music of The Allman Brothers. This band of brothers are committed to delivering the music in an authentic manner while simultaneously using the arrangements as a canvas for self-expression. Their fearless approach to improvisation, love of risk-taking, and pushing each other musically culminates into an unforgettable concert experience while creating honest, adventurous music.

Greg Campolieti

Drums

Coming from the blues based jam scene, Greg Campolieti, from Cleveland, Ohio, made a name for himself as having the ability to jump in on any musical situation/style, and has been a sought after drummer for possessing an unmistakable emphasis on groove and pocket. Greg has toured extensively and played with the lkes of Poetic Justice, River Junction, The Jack Fords, Glenn Schwartz, Angela Perley, Tom Evanchuck, Ray Flanagan, Austin Walkin Cane, Kristine Jackson, Mary Bridget Davies, The FAlling Stars, and numerous other acts of different musical genres and styles. With explosive drumming and a groove that'll suck you in like your grandma's couch, Campolieti's drumming and musicality is a highlight of any of his musical endeavors.

Chris Hanna

Keyboards

Chris Hanna has played keyboards professionally for over 30 years. In 2010, he moved to Nashville and toured with country artist Matt Stillwell. He returned to Cleveland in 2012. He has recorded with Tony Award nominee Mary BRidget Davies and has been asked to play with Rock-n-roll inductee Wanda Jackson. ON top of being a session player, he currently plays with Revival, Becky Boyd and the Groove Train, Duck Island Bootleggers, and New Soft Shoe.

Anthony Papaleo

Guitar

As a Cleveland native, Anthony Papaleo has been working as a professional musician in the area for over a decade and has been performing since his early teens.

Anthony is a local freelance guitarist and multi-instrumentalist, and has toured internationally to South America and Central Asia through the cultural exchange program, American Music Abroad.

He currently performs as a solo artist and with many Cleveland based groups including Ray Flanagan and the Mean Machines, Country Honk, The Lake Erie Roots Collective, Bethany Joy, Cory Grinder, and the Playboy Scouts.

Marko Demicheli

Percussion

Percussionist and Drummer, Marko Demicheli, came to the United States as a professional musician over 20 years ago. Growing up in Split, Croatia, he has played some of the biggest music festivals in and around Europe. Marko continues to play with various bands in NE Ohio and SE Florida. He currently resides in Boca Raton, Florida.

Joe Sumph

Lead Vocals & Acoustic GUitar

Joe Sumph has been playing live music for over 30 years. Joe started out playing in a southern rock band and then moved into writing, recording and performing original music. Joe still writes original music and also enjoys playing cover songs in various bands and projects.

Alfredo Guerrierri

Bass Guitar

One of the most versatile and sought after electric and double bassists in the Cleveland area, Alfredo Guerrieri has played with an impressive array of musicians throughout his career. He has recorded and performed with Tony Award nominee Mary Bridget Davies,  Grammy Award winner Heather Headley, Tony Pullizzi, Joe McBride, Dan Wilson, Keith McKelley, and The Speedbumps. He has toured nationally and performed internationally at the Bermuda Music Festival and One World Festival in Perth, Australia. 

Alfredo received degrees from Musician’s Institute, Berklee College of Music, and Cleveland State University. He currently teaches at Cleveland State University. 

Alfredo currently performs with Revival ABB, Sunshine Daydream, Becky Boyd & the Groove Train, Thor Platter Trio, The Shizz, and Black Island Condors. He is also endorsed by S.I.T. Strings. 

Freddy Perez-Stable

Drums

A stalwart of the Northeast Ohio music scene for nearly four decades, Fred has recorded and performed with myriad artists. After spending the first half of the 1990s as a founding member of The Skydogs, he went on  to do extended stints in Cruisin', The Steelhorse Band, and The JiMiller Band. In 2005, he began a nearly ten-year run as the drummer in Collin Dussault's Blues Project. 

Since leaving at the end of 2013, he now provides drums and percussion for a number of area bands including Revival, Sunshine Daydream, Country Honk, The boys From County Hell, Rosavelt, and The Duck Island Bootleggers.
